The challenge of this stand for Nanimarquina lay in the need to introduce and display three different collections of rugs in a single space. We relied on a single material: pine. The walls and the floor were panelled to create a neutral and homogeneous backdrop for the display. In the centre of the stand, a structure of wooden slats was built up to the ceiling, providing an important, yet lightweight element, around which the space was organized.
